the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S)
Although Qurbani is cheaper in some other countries, it is more rewarding where there is a greater need.
The Rahma Qurbani project helps bring meat to the food tables of many desperately poor and needy homes in Albania and Kosovo. It is so easy to forget that for many people meat is a rare luxury and that they only eat meat once a year because of this project.
By donating your Qurbani to Albania and Kosovo you will be helping some of the poorest people in the world. Qurbani is a source of great reward and remains one of the most important duties upon a Muslim.
All rituals are closely monitored and overseen by Ulamaa.
The cost of Qurbaani this year will be £85 per sheep.
Please note that, although Qurbani is cheaper in some other countries, it is more rewarding where there is a greater need.
The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked "What is Qurbani?" He answered: "It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim (AS), for every hair of the Qurbani you will receive a reward from Allah and for every hair in the wool you will receive a reward" Ibn Majah & Tirmidhi
Rahma distributes Aqeeqah meat to students and the very poor. One Aqeeqah costs £100 per animal and helps to significantly increase the availability of meat to many people.
