Our Aims
The idea of the Rahma Academy came in order to create a base whereby children and adults of different ages could come to learn about a variety of essential subjects as well as being educated on Islamic teachings.

About The Project
Summary
September 2013 was a milestone for us when we opened the doors of the Rahma Academy. Since its opening, the Academy hosts the Rahma School that is one of the leading schools in Albania. There are over 400 students enrolled in the school across a wide range of age groups. The students start school at the age of 3 in Kindergarten and remain until the age of 18, when they prepare for life at University.
These students work through a syllabus in line with other government schools. As well as being a school, the academy is used on the weekends and evenings for extracurricular classes which are open to all. Subjects being taught in these classes include Information Technology (IT), English Language and Islamic Studies.
The 7th Floor of the academy building is currently being utilised for the girls Hifz class. The entire floor is utilised only for this class and there is accommodation facilities for the students that reside at the Rahma Academy. Since we have started this class, we have had several girls that have completed the memorisation of the Quran.
Challenge
There has been an increasing demand for the school to take on more students due to its outstanding exam results and fantastic reviews. We have started a new project, the Rahma Institute, which will allow us to cater for the increasing number of applications.
The Rahma Academy is self-sufficient but we require donations in order to carry out routine maintenance work and repairs.
